Time flies, and real life commitments largely claim my attention.

However, know that I'm alive and well. I just haven't felt like being remotely creative as of late. However, with =Articuno's Christmas Card Exchange upcoming soon, I'll have an excuse to sit down and get the artsy juices flowing. I'll be making handmade cards this year, and they will be custom-tailored to appeal to each individual receiver.

Another thing worth mentioning is: I'm going to Canada from December 21st-January 1st. I'll be staying with Arrow and his family for the duration of the stay.

In December, I'll also be attending an annual Christmas event arranged by my school. That'll be fun, and so far this looks like a promising month. There's that, then tons of schoolwork to do, as well as Christmas preparations! I won't be celebrating at home this year as I said earlier, as I'll be on a different continent, but I still look forward to decorating the house.

Oh, and on the 15th, I became an aunt.. My older brother and his girlfriend had a baby!

Anyway as the title suggests, I have to clarify something. It has come to my attention that a few people are able to conclude incorrectly when it comes to my relationship with Arrow based on past journal entries that I published here. These entries were relevant for its time, but aren't necessarily in the present.

Let me explain my take on things.

(Note to Arrow: Yes I know it's a public entry. We technically don't have to answer to anyone, but I'm also not comfortable with people assuming things about us. You might not have to deal with questions, but I do, and I'd like to have somewhere to redirect to rather than repeat myself infinitely.)

We go well together. While arguments have been known to occur frequently between us, it does not mean that things are bad 100% of the time. Assuming such might be easy as we're a somewhat private couple; you don't catch us doing a full out display of public affection often, if at all. And with our history, I can definitely see how one reaches this conclusion, but it doesn't make it any less wrong.

You cannot judge something you do not know.

True, I've created a mental list of "dos and don'ts" which specifically apply to my own interactions with Arrow, but that list exists only because common norms sometimes doesn't apply to him, and to make communication easier (we're very different to begin with, and the purpose is to attempt to manage and live with these).

I'll say this, though. I've made the correct choice. I love Arrow, and that's that.

He's different, yes. Difficult to deal with and understand at times, but all his good traits--consideration, dedication, loyalty, confidence, to name some--more than make up for his flaws. Granted, it can be hard for me at times, but to this I say: I can be just as difficult to figure out and frankly, people tire of me quickly. His acceptance of me is close to unmatched, something I value a lot.

So there you go. That's how things stand. We deal with our problems when they occur. Some days are better than others. It hasn't always been easy to remain dedicated; I've wanted to give it up. And I don't know how long things stay like this.
But this is certain: There are two sides of a story.
